Careers

When you join us, you’re joining a family – whether that’s your team, your regulars, your neighbourhood or the Caffè Nero community.

Our team members come from all walks of life, who want to work in a diverse, fun and collaborative environment. Being respectful and supportive of each other is important to every one of us, whilst making a positive difference each day.

Our Baristas are the heartbeat of every store. They don’t only tailor our customers’ coffee, they make a difference to their day, too.

Motivating the team, ensuring great customer service, and helping maintain our brand standards are the key focus.

The person with full responsibility for their store, our store managers set the example for others to follow.

Barista of the Year is our biggest event in Caffè Nero. We set out to find the best barista from across our 650 stores.

After Store, Area and Regional competitions, we finish with the Grand Final in London where the best 10 Baristas compete for the exclusive Barista of the Year title.

There are also great prizes to be won, including engraved coffee tamps, jugs and a coffee machine, with the grand prize of a holiday to Milan.
